fragileminded: wastedemaciation: I actually disagree with this entirely.  Expect a long random rant soon. I don’t think it means “it’s all your fault” (media & society’s fault) because there are several reasons to why someone develops an eating disorder. I don’t think it’s media or society’s fault alone, but once you start developing an ED, it definitively contributes and fuels the addiction as it grows. Personally I don’t know anyone who is suffering from an ED who can say that they’ve never been triggered by a magazine cover or a diet commercial.  (via imgTumble)
